Cabin Life

At Camp Lingua, downtime in the cabin is just as meaningful as the action-packed adventures. Campers relax with books, crafts, games, or just sharing laughs with their bunkmates. It’s a time for free play and genuine connection, where friendships grow naturally.

Building Growth and Independence

siesta

Each afternoon, cabins gather for Siesta—a meaningful time led by counselors that fosters connection, reflection, and trust. Campers share about their day, celebrate small wins, and build bonds that turn cabinmates into lifelong friends. This quiet moment also encourages personal responsibility, as campers take time to complete their cabin chores and health and hygiene checklists. Through Siesta, campers grow in independence and learn the value of contributing to their camp community.

Campers stay in our modern cabins featuring air conditioning and high-density foam bunk beds. Each cabin sleeps up to 14 campers and includes 2-3 dedicated counselors. Cabins are equipped with private indoor bathrooms featuring 2 toilets, 2 showers, and 2 sinks, plus hooks and shelves for personal storage. Every camper has their own space, and trunks are required as part of the packing list. For added safety, cabins are secured with an alarm system after lights out.

  • Pink : Small-aged campers
  • Orange: Teen campers

  • Yellow: Small-aged campers

responsabilities

Each camper takes part in keeping their cabin clean and organized throughout the summer. Everyone is given assigned daily tasks—from making their bed and picking up laundry to sweeping, mopping, and general tidying. Campers also go through a daily cabin check-in, helping ensure chores are completed as a team. This shared responsibility not only teaches independence and accountability, but also helps build strong cabin connections and teamwork.
privacy
Our cabin bathrooms are thoughtfully designed with privacy and safety in mind. A shower curtain separates the main cabin from the bathroom area, while the toilet space is enclosed with a door to ensure individual privacy.
