LINGUA TRIBES

Every cabin at Camp Lingua is part of a tribe, proudly representing their assigned tribe color and mascot. Tribes are grouped by age range and gender to ensure fair competition and foster strong bonds among campers. Throughout the week, tribes face off in exciting camp challenges that build teamwork, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories—all while showing off their tribe pride!
LINGUA OLYMPICS!
The most anticipated day of the week—where camp spirit runs high and the excitement before Tribe Wars builds! Campers go all out, decked in their tribe colors with paint, accessories, and themed outfits. They chant, cheer, and get hyped for a day full of epic competition.
Teams face off in classic camp games like tug-of-war, cup pong, capture the flag, sponge races, potato sack relays, penalty kicks, and more—all battling for the title of Lingua Olympics Champions.
FREE-CHOICE ACTIVITIES
All week long, our sleep-away campers enjoy a packed schedule of activities, including horseback riding, barn care, pottery, archery, fishing, arts and crafts, tree climbing, outdoor education, ropes, the lake blob, wakeboarding, zip-lining, kayaking, baking, dirt bikes, riflery, paintball, slime making, go-karts, and sports!
SKILL-BASED ACTIVITIES
Campers in horseback riding and dirt biking start with essential pre-training to ensure safety and build foundational skills. In riding, they learn horse care and equipment before progressing to English, Western, or trail styles. In dirt biking, they begin with bike mechanics and safety, then advance to riding. Both activities follow a level-up system that builds confidence and technique.

LANGUAGE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

Our “Enter-Training” method combines fun and learning through tech and neuro-linguistic techniques—visual, auditory, and physical—to boost language skills fast. We offer daily English and Spanish lessons, focused on speaking unless otherwise requested.
Campers enjoy a fully bilingual environment, with most staff fluent in both English and Spanish. Songs, chants, and interactive activities keep language exposure natural and engaging all day long.
