Many families struggle to get their children to

high-ranking colleges and universities…

Struggle no more!

Camp Lingua's SAT & ACT Preparatory Courses and School-Subject Tutoring are designed to aid students in obtaining the highest possible scores on SAT/ACT exams, and in mastering a number of school subjects.

Difference between SAT and ACT

The SAT measures your reading/writing and math skills whereas the ACT measures these same skills with the addition of science. The exam that you choose is dependent upon the requirements of the college or university you want to attend. Most US colleges and universities accept both so you may want to take the one that best fits your abilities.

The SAT measures math, writing and language, and reading. Score scale ranges from 400 to 1600. The writing and reading score and the math score are each calculated on a 200 to 800 scale. Then, they are added together to obtain the final score. The average score is 1051.

The ACT consists of five components: English, Reading, Mathematics, Science, and an optional writing exam. Measures on a scale of 1 to 36. There is an optional essay writing section which is also measured separately. The average ACT score is 21.
